Kingston City Church is a Pentecostal church located in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. KCC has existed for over 40 years and has a great history of community and international involvement.

The services at KCC are contemporary in style with passionate worship and practical faith inspiring messages to help every generation find meaning in their relationship with Jesus. KCC is committed to every believer having an expression of ministry and making a contribution to building the church.

The vision of the church has always been to reach people for Christ and be a resource to the community. Heatherton Christian College is an expression of our vision and it has grown every year to become one of the premier Christian schools in the city. The Church and the College share the current property with their own purpose built facilities.

The family remains central to healthy people and communities. A right balance between family, work and church is essential for healthy living. The leadership at KCC is committed to helping the relationship between dads, mums and children be as positive as possible by making every generation a priority.

The welfare of people spiritually, emotionally and materially is one of our core beliefs. Emergency Resources is one of our practical ministries that provides food, clothing and counselling for people in the community, immigrants and refugees.

The mission of every church is to play its part in the Great Commission. KCC is involved in mission activity in the nations of the world. We have specific nations and churches that God has led us to partner with and we go, give and send people and resources to them for their growth and health.

We are committed to CRC Churches International as our denomination and contribute to our broader church family internationally and within Australia.

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.

We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.

We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’.

We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.

We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

REACH: We will reach out to people with love and care to help them come to a genuine faith in Jesus Christ through the proclamation of the Gospel and the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit.

RESTORE: We will help people find restoration in their lives and overcome life controlling problems by providing ministry, support, discipling, resources and an environment for the Holy Spirit to work.

RELATE: We will help people develop their relationship with God through preaching, teaching, meaningful worship experiences and personal devotion. We will also help people develop friendships with other Christians through Link Groups and hospitality.

RESOURCE: We will provide resources through training opportunities to gain a sound theology, acquire leadership and ministry skills and learn to become receptive to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and ministry.

RELEASE: We will provide ministry opportunities for people to fulfil the call of God on their lives and be effective in their service in the church and community.

Our mission is to exalt Jesus Christ in all that we think, say and do, and to extend His influence throughout the world.
